Job description

Veerle manages the Research Data Management (Producer Support) section. This section promotes and provides guidance, support and training on data management, data management planning and data sharing to researchers and data producers, in order to promote good data practices in research and to optimise data sharing opportunities. The team also coordinates the archiving and sharing of research data via the ReShare data repository, within the remit of the data policy of the Economic and Social Research Council.

Veerle also leads research and development projects on data management and data sharing, as well as research data infrastructure developments and geospatial activities for the Archive.

 

Research interests

Veerle is interested in people-plant and people-environment interactions, plant management and utilisation influencing biodiversity conservation.
