DATA ACCESS
Access to our data is via registration on the ESDS site and agreement to an End User Licence. A few datasets are subject to special conditions of access, and others require a special licence before they can be used.
END USER LICENCE
All users are required to agree to the terms and conditions of use of data as described in the End User Licence (EUL). This is agreed to during the registration process.
EUL SUMMARY
A summary of the EUL is available to help you understand the terms and conditions of use. This offers general guidance but you must read and understand the full EUL before you use our data.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Some data collections have special conditions of use further to those of the EUL. These are usually agreed to online during the ordering/access process. Some special conditions take the form of a special licence.
SPECIAL LICENCE
Special licence data collections contain more detailed information and are subject to different access arrangements. Data collections that require a special licence are clearly marked in the data catalogue and will require additional forms to be completed, and permission granted, before access is provided.
