Society for Longitudinal and Life Course Studies International Conference22 - 24-Sep-10Clare College, Cambridge

This inaugural conference of the Society for Longitudinal and Life Course Studies comprises three keynote lectures and parallel group and poster sessions devoted to the themes of the conference. The kinds of topics the conference will address extend across the whole range of longitudinal and life course studies including, for example:
  • life course stages (including physical, psychological, social developmental and ageing processes and functioning) spanning the early years, adolescence and youth, adulthood and old age
  • community, household, family and income dynamics, intergenerational transfers and returns to experience and achievement, gene-environment interaction
  • social biographical, mixed, multi-level and comparative methods
  • innovative methodology: design, measurement, analysis and research practice (statistical and qualitative)
  • longitudinal research and policy
