Season's Greetings

Article dated: 15-Dec-05

Season's Greetings Season's greetings from the UK Data Archive. Essex mathematician Professor Peter Higgins has invented a circular form of the famous Japanese number puzzles, to satisfy the demand for new and challenging variations - called Target Sudoku. He has provided the UKDA with a puzzle especially for the December 2005 edition of UK Databytes.

The rule is that each of the ten numbers 0-9 must appear in each of the five rings and each of the ten pairs of adjacent segments.
