The UK Data Archive regularly collaborates on R&D projects and welcomes approaches from organisations with similar interests.

The UKDA currently works with the following:

• Universities
• The National Archives (TNA)
• County Councils
• Partner archives in Europe
• Research Councils

Project topics are varied but include:

• portal development
• archival theory and practice
• production of teaching and learning material
• development of tools for archiving, resource discovery and web publishing
• multilingual thesaurus development
