UKDA MANAGING AND SHARING DATA TRAINING PROGRAMME
The UKDA provides training on key aspects of data management and sharing:- why and how to share research
- consent, confidentiality and ethics in data sharing
- copyright and the use of existing resources
- data documentation and metadata
- data formats and software
- data storage, back-up and security
Workshops are run by UKDA in conjunction with other organisations, and usually cover some, but not all, of the key areas above.
